I have a 36 3 Window Coupe that I'm trying to get back on the road. It has the original 221 LB engine. What spark plug do you recommend? The ones that were in it are Champion UD-16. This car has sat for over 50 years and I want to install fresh plugs. Thanks.

As you know this engine takes 18 mm spark plugs which somewhat limits your choice of replacement plugs. The most commonly available ones are Champion 7 spark plugs, 40-12405-C. They are currently available from C&G, Dennis Carpenter, Bob Drake and others. These replacement plugs are of one-piece design whereas the originals may have been of a two-piece design. Functionally they are equivalent.
