The biggest issue is to make sure the groove in the windshield frame is completely clean. Any debris in there will cause you a problem. You can use a little dish soap to lube the rubber before you install. I haven't done a 33-34 windshield in a long time, but as I recall the gasket has bonded corners at the bottom edge of the frame. I believe I started at one corner and worked my way across to the other corner and then around to the top.

Good advice by Triford8. I stated with the two corners thinking they were the weakest part.

Be sure that the seal is, in fact, correct for your car. Over the years,some incorrect seals have been sent to me. The seals also must be new and pliable.
