I tried to use the search feature on this forum to see if my question had already been answered. I cannot get it to work.

Hi, It was with 2 answers. And good ones. Put your name "hillfarmer" in the search topic box and it will come up. I have trouble with these gadgets too, but most of the time its just me. Smile 42oink

I was doing the search before I posted my question. I was looking for previous posts on upholstery removal so I would not add additional posts to the board. I have been on some boards where users would get upset if you asked a question that had already been asked. Sorry for the confusion!

I have had problems also. One thing I discovered is to wait a bit longer for a response. I type in my key words, click on search and get the message "0 responses to your inquiry" so give up. I find that if I wait a few seconds more, responses will show up. It just seems a little slower than what I am used to. I really like this feature and use it a lot.

OK........... Here are some hints: Limit your search words For the drop down menu for in the past --- click on ALL And do not enter anything in the Username -- unless you are looking for a post by a certain person
