VIEWING MULTIPLE TOPICS ON SCREEN: You can choose to see more than 10 Topics at a time ... Log In and choose "Preferences" from the top bar on the Forum page. Scroll down and Change the "Default Topics Returned" parameter to 25 or 50, and save the changes. Since this setting is stored in your browser 'cookies' (if enabled), it seems to use that stored value even if you are not logged in. So, if you use a PC that you haven't logged into the forum from, the setting still seem to remain at the default.
EXTERNAL PHOTO LINKS ON FORUM: You can still use external photo links in your posts on the new forum. They follow the rules of any link in that they have to have the URL link qualified down to the full image file name (example: .jpg). The links will open in a new browser window, the same as an uploaded image attached to a post. Since an image attachment to any post does not display inline with the post, the results are the same. You can use multiple external links within a post. This link is from photos on a site from Don Clink's 'Deuce@75' albums:

Using links from photo sites such as Photobucket can help in "size" issue with uploaded attachment files. For best viewing in web browsers, photos should be around the 800x600 pixel range, and probably not more than 1024x768. Most cameras today store HUGE jpg image files, as the default settings are in the 7, 8, 10, and 12Mb image sizes. The image files that are then attached are very large, and the browser can't display the full image size without using the scroll bars. Use the re-sizing functions of your photo editing software to reduce the image to 800x600, which reduces the file sixe and the image load time in the browser. Don uses Google's free Picassa3 software, which is an excellent photo management product. All of the photo albums of the Deuce, Grand National, and Auburn that are links on the NORG site were built using Picassa's web creation functions. And it's free? (THANKS to Don Clink for the info!)

On this page Members can add optional information such as their City,State, Country; Occupation; Hobbies: list a Homepage; list AOL Instant Messanger Handle; Signature; "Make Email Address viewable to others;" and even change the number of Default Topics shown on a page. WHEN others click on your profile, they will see this information.

There is a 1935 Ford five window coupe for sale on Facebook Marketplace that is an AACA Grand National Senior. It is a shiny well restored car that has an excellent appearance. From the few photos in the ad, it has an incorrect steering wheel, an incorrect speedometer and an incorrect shift lever. There are no photos of the upholstery or the engine.

AACA judges have a very difficult, almost impossible job of assessing many makes and models of cars presented for judging. No one person is an expert on all of the cars.

This is the original December 1936 wheel that came with my 1937 Ford from the factory.

There are NO pinstripes on stock Ford wheels.

Being an author of the ‘37 Book, I don’t see one thing wrong with your car based on the pictures. As someone mentioned, your tires should be double white walls, but that can’t be seen in your picture. One thing I did notice, but would not be a deduction, is the 3 tie bars on your banjo wheel are too close to the hub. (This could put undue radial pressure on the hub and cause it to eventually crack). If you look at the spokes, on the back side, many times there is a dimple on one of them which defines where the bars should be. You may want to look in the book for a picture if the dimples are not there.

Don't trust AI. It's like what they tell you in Beginning Computer Science -- garbage in, garbage out.

Ford didn't have any type of pin stripe on the wheels in 1936. On the body, yes, but not the wheel rims. That came in later years.
Nice looking hubcaps --- wish I had found some like that years ago.

My apologies everyone, I didn’t intend this to be an AACA vs. EFV-8 .

I hear you all loud and clear about having the car judged by the EFV-8, and I will attempt to this.

I was hoping that I would receive some input as how to better my car.

Finewine: I have been an AACA member since 2016 and at that time I entered my 35 Deluxe Tudor with a 59AB engine in my 1st Nat'l Meet and received a 1st Junior Award ( not the correct engine). Later in the year I entered another AACA Meet for a Senior Award and the incorrect engine was discovered and my car was disqualified. I have shown this car in 4 EFV8COA Nat'l Meets in the Touring Class and have won 1st place in my class each time. I now have a 53 Customline Club Coupe which was restored by the prior owner, but he painted the car two tone in incorrect colors for 1953. I entered the car in the EFV8COA Meet in Franklin, TN in the Touring Class and won 1st in my Class. This car has been entered in numerous AACA Nat'l Meets and it received it's 1st Grand National Award in 2025. To the best of my knowledge, the 53 is correct except for the paint colors. I would love to enter it in another V8 Club Nat'l Meet and have it point judged, but I don't have a truck/trailer so I would have to drive it to the Meet, but there haven't been any close enough to attend. As you can see by my experiences, AACA judging standards are to be taken with a grain of salt!
