I drove one of my Ford V8's about 32 miles yesterday for the "Drive You Ford V8 Day". Up to Highlands NC for "Butt's on the Bench", the local Saturday morning event. Saw a 35 Ford Fordor headed to Franklin, NC for the Taste of Scotland event and a 36 Tudor sitting in a garage being ignored. Great weather for a drive. Picture below was a Bridal Falls. (The road use to go behind the falls until 30 tons of rock came down.)

I am eager to get out today for my first Drive your V-8 Day. Last year my '39 was still in the shop. This year just waiting on the weather to dry out here in St. Paul, MN.

Designated by the Early Ford V-8 Club for the 3rd Saturday in June. Get your Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Ford Truck, or Ford Tractor out and about. Drive alone or with a group, but hit the road and have an enjoyable day. Photos are always welcome from your day out with your Ford V-8. Don't forget to bring some membership forms along for prospective members you meet along the way.
