What size tires should I use to replace 600-16 to go to radials also the best place to purchase.

Unfortunately there are very few modern, readily available radial tires that will properly fit the '36 Ford 16 x 4.5 wheels. Most 16" modern radials are built to fit wheels that are wider than 6", generally in the 7.5" plus range. The vintage tire manufactures, Coker, Diamond Back, etc., have tires that will fit the vintage wheels correctly, however they are very expensive.

All I know Diamond Back still making these vintage tires, too bad they are quite expensive.
