What is the difference between the 77-6050 and 77-6050-A cylinder head? There is no reference to the 77-6050 head in the "Green Book". Thanks...

There is no reference to the 77-6050 head in the 38-39 parts catalog either. You may have to go to the Archives to find out the difference.

77 prefix is for is a 1937 FORD TRUCK,, 77-6500- is for the cylinder, CYLINDER HEAD, what the differences ??, you will have to compare the 2, or do a little more reserch, one could be what was installed originally and the other a replacement, or maybe 2 different compression ratios.?? my 3 cents 37RAGTOPMAN 78 prefix number is for cars,

After Feb 1937, heads were cast instead of aluminum with embossed part 77-6050 and later superceded by 77-6050-A which had the Ford script but no part number.
