Can anyone tell me what part# 18-17755 is? It's either a front or rear bumper bracket. What year? Thank You.

with an 18-xxxxx pn it is probably a '32 part but could also be used on later year cars as well. Did you try looking up that pn in the Green Book?

Are you sure you have the number right? It is from the bumper "family", but doesn't show up in the book. The "18" would be a 1932 prefix, but it doesn't match the bar or arms for that year with the prefix. There is a 17755 for 1932 as a LH front arm but it has a "B" prefix for both "passenger and commercial".

I looked at the part number again and the 1st number is right next to the hole, it could be a 78 which would make it a 38-39 bumper part. If anyone has a use for it let me know. Thanks to all who responded.

A 78 part number would also be for 37.

The front bumper brackets on my 37 pickup are broken. According to that part number they might fit my 37. I'm interested. jsnyder223@comcast.net
