Is the key code the number on the barrel of the lock assembly in my 1946 Ford, the number I have is FY521? If that is the correct key code, can anyone recommend someone that can fabricate a key? Thanks.

The code on the lock is the key code as you had thought. I am a huge fan of Phil Migliore in New York. Great guy, great service, quick and reasonable. On the FordBarn, he goes by 32phil 845.551.5132

As my memory serves me, the trunk and glovebox locks are the same key, and the ignition and door locks are paired.

Thank's 51, but the key is for the glove box in a station wagon, no trunk.

The lift gate handle should be the same key as the glove box.

Tom O, that is what I was hoping, but the tail gate key does not work for the glove box.
