Did the coupes come with rear seats or were there exceptions? For lack of better terms: sedan vs business or salesman. Thanks for the clarification.

I believe there was NO back seat in the businessman's coupe. Others will know for sure. Paul in CT

Coupes came with a rear seat as ordered, or no rear seat as ordered. Salesmen ordered ,or puchased, with no rear seat to carry their wares. A rear seat was an option in '49, and 50'. In 51'? I don't know. Regards, Steve Lee

In 1949 Fords could be ordered as Business Coupe (no back seat) or as a Club Coupe (with a back seat). The same choices were available in 1950 and 1951.
