Greetings to all. I have a friend in the state of Michoacan, Mexico who's father bought a 1941 Mercury Club Coupe, apparently something broke behind the radiator fan and he needs the spindle bearing and some kind of connecting rod I have found the spindle bearing on a parts website where I also ordered a parts catalog for my friend but as far as the rod that goes between the two I am drawing a blank

The photo shows a 42-48 fan mounting bracket. The bearings in the fan hub do go bad from lack of lubrication. You should be looking for the complete assembly. That arrangement is incorrect for a 1941 Mercury. The fan in 1941 was attached to the crankshaft and is a 1941 Mercury part only.

Tomvader, If you so desire, I have the complete assembly, hub, bracket, fan, etc. It is super nice. So nice in fact, the authentic decal on the fan blade is nearly as new. If you're interested, send me an email or private message. Oh, as TomO points out, this assembly is for a later model, specifically '42 - '48.
