Hi, my name is Neil Anderson and I am a new member. My son in law and I have purchased what looks to be one of the original 1950 Ford F1 Rangers remaining with the Marmon-Herrington 4x4 conversion. The truck is very complete with the original 239 cubic inch flathead engine and original Marmon-Herrington 4x4 components. The truck was found in Northern Utah and was last registered by a gentleman from Hooper, Utah near Salt Lake City. The F1 still has all of the Marmon-Herrington emblems. It has a very nice body with few rust issues. The odometer shows 56,864 miles. If anyone might have any history on this truck, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Neil A.

Nice find. I don't think I've ever seen one before and I've been around a long time. Keep us posted on restoration.

I sure will. Supposedly there were only 54 ever built and only a dozen or so remaining.

You might want to contact Chuck at Chuck's Trucks (Connecticut) as he has a beautiful restored one. He has shown it when the Eastern National Meets were in Connecticut. He advertises in the V-8 TIMES and Hemmings.
