Received some news recently about a regional group that has gone "inactive." Does "inactive" mean gone for good? Or can the inactive regional group be resurrected at a later time with new members?

Yes, I believe an inactive group can be reactivated. A definitive answer can be found in the bylaws.

In one of the year end reports for the Model A Restorers Club, they announced several chapters folding. Very sad, so the V-8 Club is not alone. All have tried to come up with a way of getting new members, but nothing seems to work.
