Does anyone re-manufacture this piece of metal that screws into the floor at the door sill on a 48 Tudor Sedan? Not sure what it's called. It appears to hold the carpet in and maybe provide a place to hide wires running to the rear of the car. As you can see, mine is partially rusted away (yes, so is the floor). Please disregard the non-stock wiring. Thanks, Dave

Thank you so much! Unfortunately, it looks like whoever was manufacturing them is no longer. I tried all of the usual suspects and no one has them in stock.

Continue to call around. Try All Ford Parts in Campbell, Ca. or the Early Ford Store in San Dimas, Ca.

The sill plates/trims in my '47 doorways, which appear to be OE, are formed sheet stainless steel, as many trims on the car are. Don't know if your OE would be same. A sheet metal worker could make them if he's given the profile and measurements. I could give you info on mine. Should be similar or same.
