I'm going to buy a new All Ford Ranger. In my country, there are 6 Ranger versions so i don't want which version is suitable for me. I want to buy a powerful car and stylish. As you know, the more expensive car isn't always a better one. I want to buy a car to go offroad. I love going travel through my country. I don't want to tow. Available versions in Viet Nam are: - FORD RANGER BASE CHASIS 4X4 MT - FORD RANGER WILDTRAK 4x2 AT - FORD RANGER XLS 4X2 AT - FORD RANGER XLT 4X4 MT - RANGER BASE 4X4 MT - FORD RANGER 4X2 XLS MT Can some one help me? I'm very confused

This Forum is concerned with the 1932-1953 Ford Motor company products. I am unable to answer your question but you may get a good answer at the Forum devoted to the Ford Ranger. Here is a link to it: http://www.ranger-forums.com/

I understand that Ford dropped the Ranger a couple of years ago, but is planning to revive it if the Chevy/GMC small truck coming out is successful. The import trucks of Toyota and Nissan dominated the market to the point Ford and GM gave up. We had several Chevy S-10's over the years, and they didn't give us enough carrying capacity to justify the meager economy advantage.

You are welcome. I know that small trucks and cars were, and are, popular in Asia due to fuel cost and narrow roads. According to the U.S. dealer association, the most popular small truck here is the Honda Ridgeline. Even so, I have heard that production will be discontinued. Advances in fuel efficiency have led more buyers to seek full size trucks, as the price is not much more than for the smaller versions, and the utility is greater.
