I have a 32 BB truck and trying to figure out where the horn was mounted originally. I am thinking down on the finder but which screw and how was the bracket positioned. I have seen 32 brackets but some vendors say for car or truck and others only say cars. Any help would be appreciated.

Try contacting "sugarmaker" over on the Ford Barn. He has a pretty much original stock '32 BB. He can probably help you out. Nice guy and nice truck. IMO

A little late in answering, but your thinking is correct. Both the early motor-driven horn and the later vibrator horns mounted on the flange on the left front fender adjacent to the lower side of the radiator sh*ll. The bracket for each of the two types of horns are unique. That on the left in the photo below is for the motor-driven horn and that on the right is for the later vibrator horn. Counting from the front of your left front fender, the third hole back on the flange is where the horn bracket attaches through the fender and underlying frame rail. Just ahead of that hole is small hole that is only in the fender and not in the frame. The little stamped-in raised area in the bottom of the bracket fits in that hole to properly align the horn with the adjacent fender on one side and radiator sh*ll on the other side of the horn. The other photo shows a vibrator horn in place. Everything is the same for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and big trucks when it comes to '32 horn components and the horns' location.
