Perhaps some of the running board bolts offered by Bob Drake will work for you. https://bobdrake.com/search?type=product&q=RUNNING+BOARD+BOLTS

These are weird bolts, much bigger but flatter head than a carriage bolt, bigger square shoulder under head, yet the shaft diameter needs to be small to fit thru holes in board brackets....

Just guessing here..............but you would think that the passenger vehicle and commercial bolts would be similar, but then, Ford did have different parts for different vehicles.

C&G may have the carriage bolts you are looking for. https://cgfordparts.com/universal-carraige-bolt-5-16-x-1-1-2-long-9491.html

Hi, all! Anyone know about the Carriage type bolts anchoring the running boards to the running board brackets on either 1/2 ton or Tonner pickups? Do you know if they would be the same between 1/2 ton or Tonner? I think heads are 3/4" wide (approx) by 1 5/8" long, 6 per side. Square shoulders under the heads. I need 12, anyone know where i might find some? Thanks for help or referrals! Rick
