These are lite sockets I got when restoring my '36 many years ago but don't remember what they're for, could they be headlamp? They are displayed in pairs.

Maybe the bottom two pieces are for a locking mechanism?

None of them appear to be from the '32-'53 Ford Era. They may be aftermarket sockets.

Alan, the only thing I know for sure is that the pictured pieces were in one of many boxes of '36 parts I have in my shed that I'm cleaning out. I'll see if two headlamp bulbs I have will fit in the sockets. Thanks for responding. Bob

I have some of these around the shop. They are after-market sockets for replacing parking lights in early Fords. If you buy a replacement headlight loom for a '35 or '36 from someone like Mac's they will come with this socket rather than the spring-loaded original type. In some respects I like them better than the original, they are easier to install and remove bulbs from. Tom

I have some of them also. They are a very good socket and as Tom says the bulbs are easy to install and change. They also make a good ground to the reflector.
