Good morning, I recently took ownership of a '41 Ford coupe. Is there any books/manuals that show the various sheetmetal bodyparts in detail? I have the Ford chassis partslist and the '41-'48 Ford book from the the "Early Ford V-8 Club. Any other great books out there? Thanks, Bob A.

The body parts manual shows the body parts, but there is very little detail in the drawings. The hood, front fenders, grill and associated sheet metal are in the chassis parts manual.

Bob, your best bet is to make friends with an owner of the same model car and take lots of photos. I have included a drawing out of the 44-46 Body parts manual to give you an idea of what you could find in the parts book.

Thanks, that helped a lot. I was trying to visualize what the folks are selling to what I have left underneath. Bob A.
