I also prefer Nacewicz's lines. Once fitted, it's a good idea to solder the ferule to the line as Ford did back in the day.

Never use all copper tubing for a fuel line. It will fatigue and crack, causing a fire hazard.

Roy Nacewicz and Narraganset Reproductions sell a fuel line that is an exact duplicate of the original. It has a heavier copper plating than the ones being sold by other vendors.

Dennis Carpenter also sells the coated steel line with fittings. Some of the aftermarket suppliers are supplying copper line so be careful.Napa also sells the 1/4" coated line in a box but they will not devide the length, they also have the fittings.

We buy ours from C&G, about twenty dollars. The come with fittings attached, and are the correct copper coated steel.

Shopping for a fuel line in the restoration of my 38 coupe. The one I took off the car was one piece rigid steel and I'm aware I need copper plated steel tubing as original. I see there are many on the market....any recommendations of a good product? Classic Tube, located in Western NY., advertises in Hemmings, can create most anything but I assume I don't need that level of detail. Thanks
