Port in the right bank water pump if you have a 21 stud '36 engine. Has a brass plug in it. Some water pumps for the 21 stud don't have the port for the senser but doesn't matter if you put them on the right bank. I have at least one of those. The later sensers are electric, two post, and I have not tried to put one on a 21 stud engine. Hope this helps, Ken

Usually the bulb is mounted in place of the two terminal stock sensor.

I plan to mount a water temp and oil pressure guage in the firewall so those parameters can be monitored when the hood is up and the motor running. Besides, they look kewl. I bought "mechanical" guages and know where to mount the oil pressure sensor. Where should the water temp sensor go? Car is '36 Sedan with street performance flathead.
