I plan to mount a water temp and oil pressure guage in the firewall so those parameters can be monitored when the hood is up and the motor running. Besides, they look kewl. I bought "mechanical" guages and know where to mount the oil pressure sensor. Where should the water temp sensor go? Car is '36 Sedan with street performance flathead.

Usually the bulb is mounted in place of the two terminal stock sensor.

Port in the right bank water pump if you have a 21 stud '36 engine. Has a brass plug in it. Some water pumps for the 21 stud don't have the port for the senser but doesn't matter if you put them on the right bank. I have at least one of those. The later sensers are electric, two post, and I have not tried to put one on a 21 stud engine. Hope this helps, Ken
