I had the distributors rebuilt on my '34 Roadster and '37 Touring by Charlie Schwendler (Charlie NY) some years ago. His service was quick and the prices were quite reasonable. Both cars never ran better and I highly recommend him. His phone number is (716) 662-9159.

I have had two coils done by Skip Haney-he is excellent to deal with! I have had several long conversations with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Skip Haney is the go-to man for water pumps, remanufactured ignition coils, and rebuilt distributors. Ever heard of him? You must be a new kid on the block.

A good source for parts and information for your 1937 Ford distributor and ignition system is VanPelt Sales. http://www.vanpeltsales.com/

I have replaced points and condenser on several Model A and set the timing and am pretty good at most mechanical things but have never messed with a "helmet style" duel point distributor. Does anyone have a resource of information or suggestions on where to get a good set of Standard Blue Streak points and Condenser (if they even exist?) . Or should I just send the whole helmet distributor and coil out for refurbishment, ever herd of a place called, "George (Skip) Haney Coils and Pumps?
