I am restoring a 1953 ford f100 and thought the rear hubs were 5 x 5.5 but they measure 5 x 5.75. Never expected that and cannot find hubs for a f100 5 x 5.5. Any hel would be appreciated

You may have measured incorrectly. Ford never made made a hub or axle with a 5 3/4 lug bolt circle.

Try measuring from the center line of 2 adjacent holes and then use the chart on this link to determine the bolt circle diameter. https://www.etrailer.com/faq-wheel-bolt-pattern.aspx
