Can anyone tell me how to change the headlight bulb--the ring and lens do not come off after removing the bottom screw.

I recall the similar situation on my 37. The lens cover (ring) snaps in place due to four little tabs around the outside of the bucket. See attached jpeg picture. It takes some coaxing, but what i do is give a good tug on one side of the cover to break it loose. One time I actually had to use a screw driver to pry it off. Just be careful to not mess up the fender paint surrounding it. I have lots more pics of the entire headlight assembly if you are interested. It is in a multi-page pdf file. gregg

Use an old credit or debit card against the adjacent painted surface and you won't chip the paint when you pry.

Buy some nylon pry tools, they won't scratch the paint. I use them to remove my hub caps, so i don't have to keep touching up the wheels. They are available from Eastwood and online from other suppliers.
