1935 Ford oil pan color

I would like to know the proper color Ford painted their oil pan on cars in 1935 . I painted mine the dark green color as the engine block but my friend says thats the wrong color can you help me out . Guy .

Thank you I have always seen them painted engine color but never seen one that was totally original .

Ford seemingly had a simple rule of thumb when it came to period engine compartment paint colors (with some notable exceptions) which was castings - green, stampings - black, and forgings - black. Oil pans were not one of the exceptions.
