My 36 Ford fordor sedan humpback has two small vent windows in the rear seat area that have flip levers that lock them. The driver's side is locked when flipped down and the passenger's side locked when flipped up. Which is correct and where would I get a replacement for the incorrect one? Thanks in advance for your help! Al C.

Al, in looking at the 36 brochure, it looks like the handle is down when the windows are closed. I don't know if they are reproduced, but for an original one, you will have to search junk yards and post ads on this site, the Ford Bar and AACA web site. http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/static/NA/Ford/1936_Ford/1936%20Ford%20Brochure/image13.html

You might check to see if those levers are the same as those on the front vent windows of the 40 on up cars. If the same you can get parts for them.
