I recently purchased a clutch repair kit from Ecklers. The clutch has been installed by a transmission /clutch shop. i still cannot shift without grinding trans teeth. I am taking the truck back to the shop on Tuesday. wondering what might be the probable cause. Any ideas ?

sounds to me the clutch is not completely disengaged when depressed, some dragging, between the flywheel and pressure plate, make sure you have enough free play travel in the clutch pedal, does pedal work smooth ? if you have the 4 speed truck transmission you might have to double clutch when shifting, try double shifting, and see if it shifts better its like driving a MODEL A good luck. hope this helps, 37Ragtopman
