Hi. Helping my friend with his 1948. Is there a trick (order) to install the plug wires with domed distributor? We can't get the dome back on. I'm guessing the wires are crossed. That's a lot of wires to fit under there. Thanks

No tricks really. It is not a fun task. Patience, patience.

I greatly appreciate the reply. We got it back together but had a miss. Have to pop the cap back off. Another question... I see conflicting info on the terminals (at the cap). Should they be the 90 degree bent ones or straight?

Thanks for the replies guys. We've talked about the going to the crab style but I've seen conflicting things. I can see the crab might be an issue out in the weather, rain, snow, slush... but most likely the only water this one will see is when it's getting washed.

My car saw much more than a little rain at the 2019 National Meet at Auburn. You never know when you are going to get caught in a storm, unless you live in the desert.
