Hi, I am from New Zealand and rebuilding a 1932 Ford closed cab pickup. I need to replace the "clinch nuts" on the tops of the doors which hold the top of the window channel etc. Can someone tell me what size and thread type these are as I see there are new nuts available but I don't know what size to buy. Cheers Brian

Brian, I'm away from my old car stuff until the end of the month and can provide you the answer then. So, if you haven't received a definitive answer by then, please post a reminder for me to check for certain. At this point, I'm guessing from memory that they are #8-32 threads. David

Brian, I've now had the opportunity to check on my doors; they're #10-32 clinch nuts. Likely Michael Driskell at Third Gen Automotive in McMinnville, TN has them. David
