How do I remove the speaker grille from my dash? All I can find is a plug type item at the top of the grille which can not be pried off. The grill and center piece are plastic. Thanks

My '47 I have the retro chrome-on-metal speaker grille and dash panels but the parts anchor into the dash the same. I removed the radio (there was no speaker present) and inside at the bottom found fasteners holding the speaker grille in. I have not reinstalled the grille but don't have it in front of me to tell you exactly how it attaches. I have a photo of the dash with the grille is removed. I tried to PM you but you have that turned-off. Email me at gfdanbrown@yahoo.com and I'll send it to you.

All of the dashboard trim is removed from the back side of the dashboard. They are held in place with screws and are difficult to reach. Some disassembly is required.
