That is correct. I am not 100% sure about the stamped steel grille being used on the assembly line. 1941 Fords had a lot of changes during the year. So anything is possible. Fred Killian

Thats what I think too Fred but do you meen it is not sure? I have two 41 coupes one of them has all grill parts of pot metal and the other has all stamped steel.

I have seen both pot metal and stamped steel 1941 center grilles. Some people seem to think that the pot metal grille is factory installed. That the stamped steel grille is after market. Fred Killian

The grill parts on 41 seems to have been made in different materials as pot metal so well as stamped steel. The question is if stamped steel is only aftermarket parts or did they came from the factory in different way.
