Reinstall the pump push rod. It rides on the camshaft and plugs the bushing so the oil stays in the rear cam bearing. When the engine warms up, the oil may thin enough to starve the oil distribution.

With the engine warmed up, try running it with the belts off. If it stops, you have an external problem. If not take a stethoscope and with the engine running try to isolate the noise. With a 'click' sound my guess would be a valve problem.

See if you have a loose fan blade when the engine is up to temperature.

I have a 47 with the 59ab. At normal temperature the engine sounds great but when the temperature gets beyond the half way on the gauge it develops a clicking noise that increases with RPM. Anyone know what this could be. I'm running an electric fuel pump and have removed the push rod thinking that could be the colprit, but it's still there.
