Anyone have a pic of a stock firewall for a 37 standard tudor sedan? I looked in the 37 book but can not find one. I have extra holes that don't belong. Thanks Bruce

Shark, there are photos of the 1937 Ford firewall (what Ford calls a "dash") in the 1937 Ford Book. See pages 5-2; 5-7; 5-19; 8-1.

The hole below the large oblong hole is an extra (the large oblong hole is for the wiring harness, temp sender and tube for wiper). The one to it's left I believe is for the resistor board (goes with the one farther left) Not sure if the one at the bottom in the middle is for the push pins that hold the firewall insulator in. You can check the insulator. The larger one to it's left is an extra. Hope this helps.

Shark, the four holes you have marked are not stock, and may have been for the installation of an aftermarket water heater: Large holes being water in/out, small holes for mounting the unit. Water heaters were not available from Ford until 1939. All other holes appear to be stock.

Alan, Yes it did have a heater in it. I removed it thinking it was a non original part. If I send you a pic of the heater can you tell me the year it would be correct for? I'm not going to reinstal it and will sell it. Thanks Bruce

Just post the pic here, I'm not a heater expert, but will try.

Shark, I haven't got a clue. There are guys here that collect Brand X's, so someone might know.
