Well, looks like I'm going to need a new fuel pump. I plugged the inlet of the pump and added a clear fuel hose on the outlet end and filled the hose with gas. In 20 minutes time I lost 2 inches of gas in the fuel hose. I own a 1937 fordor with the 85 HP engine. I want the fuel pump without the glass filter. What is the best brand to buy and where to get it? Thanks, Don

AIRTEX - AFP 591 at your local NAPA Store. NAPA stands behind the products they sell......MG

I don't know what kind of fuel delivery problem that you are having, but I don't think that your test proves the pump is bad. The valves in all of these pumps leak a little.
