I need to find out what year fuel guage this is to sell it. Looks new came with my 36. Lettering on the back says: Distometer Pat. 1885048 It is ment for a 2 3/8 dash hole. Please Help.

It could be 35/36 but for a pickup not passenger car . Hard to tell the color of the surround to be sure.

Tried to send a PM but not allowed. I don't know what it fits but I'm looking for a 6 volt gauge to use in my '34. What do you want for it?

zuktom, 1936 truck or standard car, not double. '32 to '35 are hydrostatic and the '35 deluxe will have the oil pressure with the fuel. KP

I agree. It is a late '36 standard/pickup gauge. The early '36s had red marking. Tom
