I checked with the folks that handle the back issue stocks and they did not have a 1996 July/August issue. I would appreciate it if someone had one they would be willing to part with. Vol. 33, No. 4 - 1996.

Are you looking for a specific article in that issue? We could scan it.

I became editor in 1996. At that time, the V-8 TIMES was 72 pages as compared to the 112-page issues of today and I may crank that up to 120! If you are looking for a specific article, I tell people if the referenced article is say on pages 60 or higher, then it could merely be a mention in an Advisor response, i.e. "...pin striping is Adobe Tan." I'd suggest you take SUPEREAL up on his offer and actually see what you're looking for then, if necessary, you can locate a specific issue either by advertising for one on this website or in the TIMES. They're out there. Good luck.

Check with the Early Ford V-8 Foundation Museum. They have a fairly large collection of of the V-8 Times that are for sale. http://www.fordv8foundation.org/ The magazines were donated to be sold for fund raising purposes. This helped clean out old collections and helps the museum. Tom

I checked my "library" today, and I do have the '96 July/August issue. My collection started in 1975. For those new to the hobby, there is an index of articles and topics in the front of the membership roster. The V8 TIMES, alone, justifys club membership, in my opinion. It would be wonderful if, someday, the cost of placing these online could be covered. Having seen the V8 TIMES for 36 years confirms that the many awards it has won are more than deserved. Under editor Jerry Windle it is the premier publication of its kind, as are the club sponsored books.

I agree, Jerry does a great job. The V8 Times was definitely a factor in my finally becoming a member.
