Does anyone have the part# for the support that mounts on the starter and how is it installed? Thanks

Sunflower, If you mean the little bracket that helps support the starter, it is part # 51A-11150. It is available from C&G for $5.00 and may be available from other vendors. It attaches under the head of one of the starter bolts and one of the oil pan bolts. Ken

There is a recent thread about this on Fordbarn http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43762 I bought the Mac's bracket but have not installed it. It seems the bracket first was used in 38, but evidently a lot of the owners have retro fitted to earlier cars.
