Greetings, I am a new member to the club. I have a several early v8 autos. One is a 36 ute. Does anyone know where to find information on these vehicles, such as production numbers? This is a really nice truck i'd like to know more about it. Thanks Smiley

G'Day Smiley and greetings, to you, from Australia, It all depends which body style that you have for the producation numbers. They were made in two body styles. The hard top version, sometimes known over as a "coupe ute" or my favourite the "roadster ute ". I'm not sure on the numbers but the roadster version is very thin on the ground over here.I'm also sure that someone else from the big island will chime in with more info re the numbers.

Hello, my ute is a roadster type, the previous owner told me that it was very rare. He said this one was one of 4 made for the Duesenberg dealer in Paris France. The body is painted with the dealer info. The vin is s18t17752. Thanks for your reply

Now that is just toooo cool. Kind of ironic isn't it - a lowly Ford keeping Dusenburgs running. Looks like a pretty professional job on the body - one of the better know coachbuilders around Paris??

Thanks for the compliments . This is fun to drive, I believe a head gasket let go on my last ride. The coolant went out the tailpipe, I now have a winter project.
