Will someone please explain the operation or these Temp. Sending Units.

Scroll down to the 'Temp gauge' question from Pair of 40's. Your sending units work as explained in that post.

Thanks Tom, I went to the post & it will sure help. I wonder what Ohm Grd. should come from the single unit when the engine is cold. Solid Grd. will put the hand out of sight to the cold side. Thanks Again

An ohm meter check will not work as the contacts in the sending unit open and close constantly when the power is applied. The amount of time that the contacts are closed determine how far the meter needle moves.
