Please forgive my ignorance but I'm a new member and working to restore my first 1937 Ford Model 78 Fordoor; having a very hard time finding some parts like the two wooden floorboards and the original front tan rubber floor mat and tan shifter boot among a few other things. I already purchased several things from Third Gen, Joes, CW Moss and all new windows from Auto City Classic and I now see from the Obsolete & Classic Auto Parts Inc. online catalog that they appear to have practically everything I need, even the thing that the other don't have or say they cannot get.

The tan "shifter boot" was not a 1937 Ford offering from the factory nor was it a Ford authorized accessory...

In the distant past, over 20 years ago, I bought parts from Obsolete & Classic Auto Parts and had no problem with them. They do seem to carry parts that many of the other vendors don't have.

Joe's Antique Auto in Uxbridge MA is another good source for parts. Joe and his crew are top notch. IMO https://www.joesantiqueauto.com/

Thank guys! The photo is actually from the guys climate controlled garage in Alabama where I purchased the car, he had it for most of it's life and it was always kept inside. He claims that the cars odometer is correct at 34,000 miles. It does have an original interior, very much worn but with no damage or tares in the upholstery. So far I have only installed the two rear door glass and still have all the remaining glass to do. I Pulled the radiator and had it cleaned by a really neat guy in Daytona who has been restoring old radiators over 50 years! I sent the distributor assembly and water pumps to Skip Haney for him to rebuild. I purchased new front engine mounts and new radiator mounts along with a new distributor gasket set, plug wires and new inner and outer distributor caps and rubber boots. Any recommendations as to other things I should do while the radiator, distributor and water pumps are out of the car? I took the front interior floors out to verify the VIN and see if it matched the VIN on the Frame and it does. Interesting VIN #I8-38I8369 and the two "I"s in the VIN is actually not a number but a letter. Having a hard time finding new wood floor pieces, someone messed up the drivers side one.

The "I" in the vin # is actually a one. Check with Sacramento Vintage Ford as they may have the floorboards.
