I bought a pair of '33 Illinois plates on eBay. Price and condition vary all over the place. Give it a try if necessary.

Place a "wanted ad", here, on fordbarn.com and on HAMB (https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/forums/wanted.30/). Do your research on prices on EBAY. If you are going to use the plates for registration they need to be clear (at least in California) and that has a major effect on the price. I hope you don't need plates for a truck, their prices are crazy. Charlie Stephens

Shane: Do you have 1936 plates from other states to trade?

Unfortunately no I don't have any that early to trade. I have a nice set of Virginia 1968 plates that I would be happy to trade.
