I need to put a new emergency brake cable on my 1941 Merc. Several parts sources Third Gen, Dennis Carpenter, Ford Barn, Bob Drake sell the Parking brake cable, but don't carry part # 91A 2121 or 19A 2121. A chassis manual also refers to it as an "emergency brake equalizer". Does anyone know of a Substitute part that could be used? Say from McMaster Carr or Grainger?

This part, 91A-2119, may meet your needs. It is in stock at C&G. https://cgfordparts.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=91A-2119&finder%5B1%5D=4777&finder%5B2%5D=4883&finder%5B3%5D=5080&find=find

91A-2121 is a special size clevis pin. My parts catalogs do not show the size. If you do not have the one that came with the car, I would go to your local hardware store with the equalizer in hand and find a pin that will fit the hole and not extend too far out of the equalizer but far enough to get a cotter pin in the hole. You could also measure the equalizer and try to find a pin that would work at McMaster Carr or Grainger. Another alternative is to ask around your friends to see if they have one left from a parts car.
