Hi, I have a '32-'34 non-vented block that will need the mains poured and line bored, and sleeving the .080" over bore to standard 3 1/16. Is there a machine shop in Southern Calif. that can do this? The block is crack free in the usual areas. Thank you for your time, Jim.

Mike Herman of H & H Flatheads may be able to provide the services needed to put your engine back into operating condition. Not sure he does babbitt work but he can convert your engine to use insert bearings. His phone is 818-248-2347 and website is www.flatheads-forever.com.

Mr. Turtell, Welcome. I would like to suggest that you update your profile to accept email. Also it would be good to add your general location so it will appear in any of your future messages. Charlie Stephens

Thank you for the info with H&H Flatheads. Unfortunately, Mike doesn't do poured mains, only insert replacements.
