You can buy brand new water pumps from Dennis Carpenter. I bought a pair from him for a '53 V-8 a few years ago and they were great. I put about 15K miles on those pumps with no problems. He currently has the ones for 1953 V-8's in stock.

Skip is awesome! he just sold me a distributor outright. now he's doing water pumps for me. It may take 2-3 weeks. I just thought I'd rebuild my current pumps to have spares. I think speedway may be my source unless I send them to Skip too.

I used to rebuild my pumps. Then, I met George and since have never rebuilt another. The quality, promptness and price makes it impossible for me to justify doing it myself any longer. By the time you buy the parts, what did you really save? And, was your time worth the savings?

I suppose lots of folks can rebuild water pumps such as myself, but where can i get a kit with turbine impeller and modern seals such as Skip Haney sells?
