What is the opinion of members of the quality of aftermarket water pumps. I have seen articles saying that Skip Haney is the guy to go to for rebuilt water pumps he has outstanding quality pumps. I am not questioning that I am just asking if the aftermarket water pumps are equal to or as good as Haney's. The aftermarket claims improved impellers ball bearings completely sealed etc. What has been your experience?

Skips pumps have the "improvements" needed and are the best for your car. I have probably used 10-15 sets of Skips pumps on cars and had one problem which he quickly fixed

Another option for rebuilt pumps is: Daryl Fryer 514 W Fern Ave Redlands CA 92373 (909) 335-1418 Can't say anything about his pumps since I've never used him even though he is in my home town. Last time I needed pumps rebuilt his turn around time was longer than Skips so I went with Skip. But the cost was similar and I've never heard anything negative about his work.

I have used the Fryer pumps on 5 occasions and they are excellent. Used them on my own cars and put them on friend's cars. I do not know of anyone who has used these pumps to ever have a problem.
