thanks Paul for the compliment. Yeah I know it folds but just don't want to jump into cold. with my luck I'd bend something. Barry

There were little instruction folders furnished with the '36 open cars when new, including one for roadsters, that illustrated how to fold the top irons and install the cover (boot) over the folded, lowered top assembly. I do not have one for the roadster, but perhaps Don Rogers has one and he will share it contents with you. As indicated above, unless the top has been modified, it is not removable, but rather folds up and is stowed in the space behind the front seat back.

Usually the tops don't remove, they fold down. Nice looking hot rod. Paul in CT

Your top is not stock. You'll have to ask the man that built it. Your hood appears to be stock, so as it lifts, the bottom rear corner will rest on an indent on top of the firewall. I like the color, too bad old Henry didn't. Gotta ditch those wheels, though.

Hi all!!!!! brand new to this site. I have a 1936 Ford Roadster and 1) can anybody give me guidance on how to remove and stow the soft top? 2) any guidance on how to support the hood when opened? I thank you in advance
