Rebuilding a spare 21 bolt that came with my car, however some of the screw in studs had been removed and not to be found. Is there a diagram available to show the proper placement in block for the different length studs. Thx Rudy

From the Chassis Parts List; June, 1937; there were 24 long studs, 8 medium studs and 10 short studs. My records from when I removed the studs from my engine indicate the short studs are the bottom row of 5 per side and the medium studs on the next row up of 4 per side and all the others are long studs. I have not seen an official diagram of the stud placement. I have considered using a long stud where the ground cable attaches to passenger side cylinder head if the stud does not protrude through the nut.
