Golen engines in Hudson N.H. will no longer rebuild flathead Fords. I was referred to R&L engines in New Hampshire. Other referrals come from New England Engine in Mass., along with J&M Machine Co., and Walt Dupont in Gardiner, ME. My 41 coupe is in New Haven County Ct. Are there any more localized engine rebuilders in my area of good reputation to consider before I truck my engine possibly hundreds of miles for a quality rebuild?

You can take Walt DuPont off your list. He has passed away.

Ronnie Roadster's too busy with his race schedule right now but he recommended i call Ernie at A&M Auto machine in Meriden CT. Any comments on A&M's build quality.
