Looking at the pictures in the Club's 1935-1936 Ford Book, the outer ring looks like a 1935, but the dial doesn't look like the one in your picture.

Anyone have a good photo of the 34 radio controls on the center of the dash? The restoration manual photos are off to the side and not very close. Thanks

That in your photo is not a '34 ash tray radio control head as that has a rectangular perimeter compared to the round one of yours.

tim, the '36 head has switch inside. the '35 doesn't. the left knob of the '35 turns free. the '36 head has 2 long wires coming out the back, the '35 one. the radio itself looks like a '35. open car. the dial face isn't stock. these sites have pictures of heads. and radios. https://sites.google.com/site/identifyingcarradios/home/radios-1/ford-1 https://sites.google.com/site/identifyingcarradios/home/radios-3/philco
